Friendship forever

Our project started in 2008 and it will finish this year in June. It was a very useful project for us because we now have a very beautiful relationship with the Norwegian students and teachers.

Our first meeting was on 22nd of April 2008 when we meet them in Norway. In the first days we just tried to get to know them better. We were received in a very nice manner by them. Because we talked a lot and spent a lot of time together it was very hard for us to come home without the friends we had just made there.

Our first meeting in Zalau with the children and teachers from Norway was very exciting because we hadn't seen them for almost a year. When I saw them I thought I was seeing other people because they had changed a lot.

We went together in two trips and we had very nice activities. We went on a two day trip to Oradea. We left Zalau on Friday. On the way to Oradea we visited the memorial house of Octavian Goga, a Romanian writer. His house is in Ciucea, Cluj county. I really enjoyed going there because I had never seen it. In Oradea we visited The Fortress and the Moon Church. We also went to the Black Eagle Palace. After this visits we went to a hotel in Felix. On our way home we went to The Cave of the Bears. The cave was very interesting and impressive.

On Wenesday we went to Cluj and we visited the Botanical Garden and the Orthodox Church. After that we went shopping in Polus Center. After we came back to school we played some games and had some competitions. The children from Norway won medals and diplomas. We tried to teach the visitors how to make a multimedia application and we added new things on the school blog. We had language lessons and made art craft. I really liked the art craft because I learned how to make things for Easter.

On our spare time we played football and we went out around town. Everybody enjoyed the time spent together.

This experience with the students from Norway is a very special part of my life. I liked very much having them here and I also enjoyed very much the trip to Norway. I wish this project would last longer.

This project was good for me because I learned new things about people and places, but the most important thing is that I made new friends.
